There's a thought. I could make a polystyrene cutter; if I needed a polystyrene cutter.
If I had a toaster.

Yep, the basis of a superb polystyrene cutter Steve :)

I have a toaster but rarely use it...

Now you've given me an idea for pest control

I could use a pigeom beheader too.
Have hung a dozen or so hard drive discs in the garden to keep them away.
They do seem to have worked a bit but as I was explaining what they were and why they were there to my daughter, she nodded toward the garden where there was a pigeon pecking at ants.

The problem being that it is illegal.

We are plagued with pigeons, seagulls, crows and magpies. OK in small doses but they kill small birds and rob their nests, the latter three anyway.

You could make a back garden version of a clay pigeon trap with a toaster. When the lightly cooked pigeon pops up out of the toaster you take a pot-shot with a spud gun. It could be marketed to wealthier clients as 'Pop Dove' :-D
.....or maybe not [-X

I get given pigeons from time to time when Jaques has had enough of them eating his grain store. Taste lovely, my favourite meat.
