I really must get it back on the road soon
I think it's been off for 18 months already... But I also have been reminded that I need to sort out the C5 first

The SAAB convertible goes for next to nowt at auctions, but I always like to see one. This is a bit of an odd colour, but interesting enough to click the shutter

Can't argue with that despite my previously posted misgivings!:NewcastleFalcon wrote: 14 Aug 2021, 19:34 The SAAB convertible goes for next to nowt at auctions, but I always like to see one. This is a bit of an odd colour, but interesting enough to click the shutter![]()

Although this morning's shower was not conducive to open top motoring I did come up behind this rare beastie in the lanes on the way to Elstree this morning:

I like a TR7 convertible, nice colour too, and a bit tartan on the upholstery

Re: Open-Top motoring....
I passed one of those smart open-tops on Friday, in Torre del Mar. Looked like a rental car jobbie.
Wonder how hard you need to pedal?

I'm not sure I'd want to even try opening the doors.

Re: Open-Top motoring....
Have you ever driven one of those Mick......horrid little things but a favourite of it's time. The clutch had about a quarter inch of travel and got to the bite point when you lifted your foot about a sixteenth of an inch.......very interesting when you first had a go, especially in reverse.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. (Albert Einstein)
