Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I like paint, use it most days for some faffing about with images but for a greater array of manipulations I head for the on-line https://www.imgonline.com.ua/eng/

I know of your list Mick , and the page you presented contains some stats on one of the inclusions, but in blissful ignorance is that different from all sorts of other sites in that respectmickthemaverick wrote: 30 Aug 2022, 19:39 I won't use that site Neil for reasons which will become obvious if you read this page:
Don't want to cut my pleasures off, I find it a useful site to use, simple straightforward nice results that please me.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
No its not to be honest, there are many sites with similar attributes and whenever I am presented with a new site I check them out, which is why I do very little indeed online at all. It doesn't bother me to view sites with a connection, as I trust my own security software to block any cookie dumping or similar, but I avoid interaction as much as possible, however I neither condemn or even criticise others for using whatever sites float their boats!!NewcastleFalcon wrote: 30 Aug 2022, 20:05

How to photograph a spider's web there's a way said a wise old man
Not sure I got it quite right....
This morning I discovered that, over the course of 9.30pm ish Thursday, to 8.00 am today, the Leaf had been covered in many superbly crafted spiders web's magically created in the night.
So I tried with without flash, then with flash to capture images of the intricate form of the web.
Here's the first click of the shutter With the flash Regards Neil

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The BBC Country File annual Calendar competition ended up with a very nice arty picture of Swans as the winner, a natural (I would hope) assemblage of many colourful beaks heads and necks with the background pure white from the plumage on a close-cropped image.
This I'm afraid would be too avant-garde to be considered.

NewcastleFalcon wrote: 16 Jun 2022, 23:03This has pair turned up. Not perfect by any means. One has a good definition of the stamp Northern but has a damaged lip. The other the definition of Northern tails off after "north".Dormouse wrote: 05 Jun 2021, 21:23 Does anyone have a "North" or "Northern" brick to complete the bricks I have in the compass around my wishing well?
