Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto

"The Graduate"

Remember the car he drove and that is from when the film was first released - haven't seen it since.

Oddly enough I worked with a Danish guy who imported one into Sweden from Italy and the Swedish MOT people made him change the wooden rimmed steering wheel as it could splinter in a crash and cause further injuries.

Looking up the Duetta on wiki, and out springs this rather gorgeous looking vehicle worth an airing here

Its a 1960 Alfa Romeo Superflow IV

We often drive home on a Sunday night to the strains of "The Great American Songbook" on Smooth radio. Yes and tonight we had amongst other things...."Mrs Robinson" by Simon and Garfunkel.

...but the leg is not Anne Bancroft's by all accounts. I'll not attempt a whoslegisthisthen? puzzler and just reveal that the most likely candidate was/is the sultry Sue-Ellen Ewing!
