Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto
"The Graduate"
Remember the car he drove and that is from when the film was first released - haven't seen it since.
Oddly enough I worked with a Danish guy who imported one into Sweden from Italy and the Swedish MOT people made him change the wooden rimmed steering wheel as it could splinter in a crash and cause further injuries.

Re: Whatsthisthen?..who'sbehindthewheelthen? etc
We often drive home on a Sunday night to the strains of "The Great American Songbook" on Smooth radio. Yes and tonight we had amongst other things...."Mrs Robinson" by Simon and Garfunkel.
and here's the eponymous Mrs Robinson here
...but the leg is not Anne Bancroft's by all accounts. I'll not attempt a whoslegisthisthen? puzzler and just reveal that the most likely candidate was/is the sultry Sue-Ellen Ewing!

Right and right....too easy this time but I did come across what I consider to be a very nice image of the Beta Montecarlo under the article title of "Ideal Cars for Midsummer"...just needed an excuse to post it up!Hell Razor5543 wrote:From "Herbie goes to Monte Carlo".
