Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Funny, I've always found their returns/complaints policy "no questions asked, other 'receipt?'" to be commendable.

Oh yeh, they gave me a refund with no quibble.....that was not my concern, their reaction to such a serious "fault" in their QA was.

Oh yeah, see what you mean. Sorry, bit slow on the uptake there; blame the hour of the day & a mind elsewhere.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Not sure if these have been posted before but this evening I picked up a cracking set of jump leads for £12.99 from Lidl.
25mm^2 cable, copper croc clips and a nice extra feature... LEDs on each clip to make night time jump-starting a bit easier.

I’ve had a set of good ones I bought 12 years ago and they’ve never been used! It’s one of those things you don’t want to be without, but never end up having it in the car when you need it!
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
That's good to know
What with all of the electronics on the X7 I'd hate to be stranded and unable to start it if something flattened the battery.
I was considering one of those lithium jump starting packs, they seem to be very powerful. But the damn thing would probably be flat should I come to use it so a [much cheaper] set of leads would be more useful.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Next Thursday (08/11) Lidl are doing some car items (and I can say that the ice scraper is very good);

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Our Lidls and Aldis already have them, been there a couple of weeks.
Shame I bought one from Screwfix.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Lidl's glass cleaner "with vinegar" is excellent stuff, couldn't believe the difference it made to the condensation problem these cold, damp, November evenings! Cheaper than £1 shop too.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
At our Lidl this week the only car thing I could see was a tool for cleaning the inside of the windscreen, the middle aisle was full of Christmas tat.

There's a few tools in Lidl from today, mainly DIY stuff.

Re: Lidl and Aldi Car accessories
Perhaps I should've mentioned, in case anyone's swayed by my recommendation, that glass cleaner is "household" rather than "automotive".
Apparently Sainsbury's had their mincepies in so early, they have to be eaten before Christmas!
