Now then Ryan, behave yourself [-X

I'm also a great fan of all things Japanese and just remember I was once very skilled in a Japanese martial art ;)

And I have a Japanese car, even if it wasn't actually built there...

Presumably it's a write-off ? What next for you as a replacement ?
Just a little, no serious injuries, no airbags went off.. waiting insurance report, might take a while, French resident French insurance, LHD car and UK Crash.
Not decided on a replacement yet

Yahoo! Finance
A power trader error sent shockwaves through the Finnish market as it mistakenly offered to sell the equivalent of at least half the country’s entire consumption at an hourly auction.
Ooops!

Consumption of what?

Electricity.

Europe has an integrated electricity market, with a lot of trading going on in companies that apparently didn't learn anything from the Enron scandal.

A Finnish trader apparently managed to lock in a trade where he promised to sell the equivalent of 50% of Finnland's electricity consumption for -200€/MWh. This means that he'll have to buy electricity on the spot market, and re-sell at a negative price, for a full 24 hours. Apparently there's no 'undo' button, and as a result the retail price of electricity has fallen to negative in most of Scandinavia.

Many Scandinavians use 'hourly billing' - where the end consumer pays a price that varies by hour, and follows the spot market. This means that many Finns will turn on their saunas today - and get paid for it!

I don't know how to quote my original post about Mick driving a Jap car, obviously it was done in Jest and probably slight envy from myself that a Jap car works well without the usual Citreons hiccups....

As a general point Ryan, to quote a post simply scroll to the post then click on the 66 button at the top right. The post will open as a quote in a reply box at the end of the same thread, you can then add your comments etc as you want!! :)

Nope, not kick boxing Ryan, something far more lethal. And not needing good knees either, although good knees do help ;) :)
