A Lonely Goat visited a café called the Giddy Goat!
Does the Giddy Goat do a Soya Latte for you Jim? I remember the Pickled Egg Landlord having to get some soya milk in for you specially in back in 2015, so you could enjoy a skinny de-caf latte in the snug.
No, I have my coffee decaff and black ;) I discovered shortly after the PE got some in that I'm violently allergic to all products containing soya and must avoid it at all costs. I'm possibly more allergic to soya than I am to milk and eggs!

Being a vegan with a soya allergy makes life difficult as soya, like sugar, is everywhere and often hidden

Happily the Giddy Goat cake was both vegan and free of soya :D

I remember those tins of dried milk from when I was a little boy!!! Dad liked the empty ones for keeping workshop sundries in...

One of my girls is a vegan baker and ran into problems baking soya-free cakes at short notice, several disasters until she got it right.

The milk tins were also familiar from when I was a kid, not sure if we actually used it, remember my mother being rather uncomplimentary about it and scathing with regard to powdered eggs.

The 'formula' milk for my little brother came in similar tins. I was sometimes tasked with getting it from - doctors probably, along with the government orange juice and rose hip syrup.

Lovely one Skull :D A great day for it!

I enjoyed a magical club ride today up to Salcey Forest by a meandering route for coffee and cake :D The sun was lovely but the wind was still chilly at times

It's always great to ride out with friends... We went in two groups and all met at the café… It was so good to meet up with some old friends I'd not seen in over a year :D

Shorter ride today, Coffee stop at same place but with my own Squashed Fly biscuits, I usually have a Black Coffee with a splash but today for some reason I asked for White and got an anemic looking cup 🙄
Lovely clear day to see our local 'tump', the bigger 'tump' aka the Wrekin and Shropshire Hills in the distance
