Ah, I hadn't appreciated they were ones hosted on a third-party site (yes I am a heavy victim of back when photobucket broke all the internet forums so well aware of those problems) - I thought they were ones that had been uploaded to the site and had somehow 'broken'.

Thanks Marc - I've flashed a debit card at my dealer, but the parts guy said these are on back order with no ETA, so he'll chase it up in a couple of days, but he also advised that items marked up like that often don't come back into stock.

So...

Seeing as I've got 4x new sensors on my desk, I ran a vernier across the ball, and it's 7.85mm, and I've found rod ends with an 8mm ball socket on them...


...which would allow me to make some links something like this...

...by putting some threaded rod between the socket ends.

Plastic insert is made from two halves and rattling, probably because there is no grease anywhere. Otherwise it looks solid especially for the price.
