Luke, how do you keep spotting this BX but not know where it goes? Surely a 19RD is no match for your Megane? Or is Deirdre the Stigs mother?

Hahaha! She sets across town at 7:45am, which is hideously early. I followed her one morning to a local primary school, which isn't exactly the kind of place men can linger in a car. I thought ok, that's her routine, I'll catch her again. This week she hasn't appeared at all, and didn't get the chance to follow her home. Leave it with me guys.

I would have a CX over a BX

After driving three in a day I completely agree with this, I love the CX! I need to own one!

The Croisette's are a good starter CX - in fact, my first CX was a Croisette too!

That looks beautiful, I love the wheels. But I'd ideally like an automatic CX. I think the character of the CX is suited to an auto box.

Oh and that £300 Xantia V6 was ten minutes away from me this time last week! Would have bought it over the C5!

This is all sounding very 'iffy'

Maybe she has a second car and only uses the BX some of the time ...

Is this all very close to where you live/commute to? Or is this a long trip each time?

I must say, I have never wanted a car enough to stalk it

Ah I follow cars all the time, it's how I got talking to the owner of the one Belfast Avantime

She passes my university, that's where I first saw her. Then finishes at a school 5 mins away from my house.

It was a very nice car when I'd finished with it after a full bodywork restoration and newly refurbed alloys.
It was actually sold over to Ireland to a chap called John Mohan - anyone from Ireland know him with a CX? I believe that it was for sale some time back.

CXs really are great - by far my favourite Citroen. Dad and I were out in my XM a couple of days ago and IMO the CX is far 'nicer'. I'm sure the XM does appeal to many as there's no doubt about it being quirky!

I like mine because of the engine and the provenance but I'm still not an Xm-convertee I'm afraid chaps! A 24 valver would be very nice, but a GTi Turbo 2 is great...and I've got a Maikonics Kit here to pop on one! 250bhp and 320ft/lb torque.

They can get clutch-hungry though!

Still, I look forward to displaying it at the National and you XM-Fans'll have to try to persuade me!

Ill not be persuading you but I know which big Cit takes my liking and its the 1990s one

...a very late CX then! In fact, the latest CX Saloon was a 1990/1991 car with the reg number H100 AJM. There was a couple of J plate Estates too. I've seen a picture of when Roger recieved the last ever CX to come to the CX centre - a blue Familiale IIRC.

A V6 XM, I'm sure I could get on with one of those. All in all though, there are many other Citroens I want to own before an XM. I can't see myself buying anything other than a V6 either.

I really loved driving those CXs. Would happily do it all day, and the XM seems a bit plain in comparison. A beautiful sight was watching the Croisette rise quickly after Robert woke it from hibernation - One thing I really love about Citroens. Those mad indicator and wiper controls are another example of the madness I love about the CX.

Yes, I really want a CX. Think I'll have a flick through the brochure before bed

I know where there's a nice low mileage V6 XM that could be for sale Luke! It'll be at the National too!

There will be a nice selection of CXs at the National that you'll be able to see - not sure how many dad intends to bring but there should be a nice range from us!

Don't forget the Diravi steering in the CX too!

Series 2s are quite mad, but what's even madder is the Series 1 drum speedo!

If the XM had CX steering, and CX brakes It would be a lot better.
