That's a right bugger, that's another one that I only bought 12 months ago! Wish I'd ordered a few now!

I can't believe how much stuff has gone NFP in the last 12 months!

Donor car David,,,,it is the only way.
Also, prices, go silly at £500 odd for a RaM....you can get two on a donor for that and do a JimMod on them.

There seems to be a few items in LHD that are OK (for now) but RHD are NFP...like steering racks for the V6

Well I can confirm that those bushes are NOT NFP Sticky.

I ordered 2 x 405911 from Robins & Day in Glasgow last week and they have arrived today. They do have a P in front of them which means they are a Peugeot part, not a Citroen part, I don't know if this makes a difference!

What does NFP actually stand for. I've got my own abbreviation but I'm sure its not right. Have you actually rung your Citroen dealer with the part number when you come across it? I got my hydractive strut tops from Citroen even though I found out they were NFP on the internet.

If we were to try and organise a group buy I'm happy to talk to my dealer about price.

Happy to put in for 3x on that unit.

But the answer to WHY there is a bush of such a complicated design on the lower mount is designed in, is still an open discussion.

As far as I can see the geometry of the roll bar does not change under/off load, the ball joint on top acting as a hinge/shock absorber.
As such, despite the opinions otherwise, and I value the time in use reports, I will replace the solid one Jim very kindly made for me with this resilient one as soon as I need to break the joint again (due to a tiny weep I will in the winter when stored). I can see only one reason, the reduction of shocking loads into the upper ball joint.
