I note the MetOffice forecasts minimum temperatures for north England and Scotland on tuesday of -8 to -10degsC. I also note Mannol are still marketing their ready use -8degC anti-"freeze".

I came across this post whilst looking for info about why the Mannol 4212 coolant I have just purchased tested as having a freezing point of -7 degrees .
Obviously I found it this post very interesting as Mannol seem to sell a product that is not fit for puropse in the UK so I contacted them to ask for a refund.
They forwarded my email to the seller on ebay that I purchased the coolant from.
The seller got in touch and also sent me a document that Mannol had sent to them showing that the 4212 product has a freezing point of - 10 degrees C
This seems to contradict the document that they sent earlier to the guy that started this thread that said -8 degrees but either way its still no good for the UK.
I also saw that there are a couple of bad reviews on Amazon for the same reasons outlined here.
I have asked the Ebay seller for a refund and am awaiting a reply but thought I would post a screen shot of the document here for anyone interested ;-)
