Did you get the problem sorted? Curious as I have this problem after changing a radiator hose.

I still think this is going to be fruitless without first double checking your diagnostic interface is working correctly. I've never had this issue before where the diagnostic tool will not connect - unless the interface, wiring or software is the issue. You really need a fault code to start narrowing things down.

The info you posted a few posts up is very handy. I wonder if you have a similar photo to that showing where the wiring goes to the loom connector that also shows the wiring to the ABS control ECU?

Not sure if this is what you mean but this is the only illustration showing where the loom routes to the ESP ECU.

That's great, thanks, it doesn't seem to show any further connectors getting the signal from the loom and into the ESP control then. Thanks for your help, I'm sure this is enough info now for me to get started.

I'll report back if I fix it. I changed the sensor already which made no difference, started to trace the wiring but when itt seemed to go up under the tank, I decided to have a look what the internet said rather than struggle and this post popped up. Very informative. Thanks.

There are of course interconnections for the looms where they join, but just focus on the wiring code not the colours.

What is it you are looking for specifically, as diagrams are vehicle, equipment and option specific. There is no ICK5D "i"

But this is the location of ICK5D which connects the Rear Left and Right Wheel Speed Sensors to the main harness.

I'm preparing to fault find the same issues and wanted to check the ABS ECU connector for water ingress at least, so is it on the front drivers side please?
