The silver hornet is now with a new owner! And just before parting ways I took a few snaps of it before it left.

Not every day you see two Mk1 sinkers together.

That used to be a common site at my house when we all drove Xantias. Not seen two sinkers together for years now, seldom I see one. My sinker was an Lx in the same colour as your VSX. It used to hang out quite often with a pair of Emerald Green Vsx's, both sinkers. Thanks for sharing the pic, it made me smile.
Actually mine was a Vlx, the only one! I put the Vsx stereo, interior and wheels onto it.

Even seeing one sinker is a rare sight now :(

Only saying yesterday at the DS Rally just how rare the Xantia in general is getting... Rarely see one in the wild nowadays and yet only a couple of years ago they were a common sight on the roads...

It's true but since they only made the sinker types for barely one year the number that do survive does seem reasonably good.
As I was convoying with the new owner fir a while on the motorway the silver xantia looked great bombing along

Arguably they were the best built ones Graeme... Quality suffered as the years rolled by and took a dive with the S2...
