We could post them back before he arrives, that way it would force him to the originals for 300 miles.

How much is the clutch kit and gubbins then?

The clutch kit is £125 for a LUK one, that's the 3 piece kit, and £15 for 2 litres of gearbox oil.

Remember I live in the total wilds and you will be charged an extra £100 postage, and that's per wheel. And then you will have to supply other wheels for me as I can't get 4 wheels crammed into my holdall for cabin luggage on easyjet.

My S1 Activa clutch pedal failed under its last owner and needed only the slave cylinder replaced at a cost of £400 inc labour. I have the receipt from HRW. It's still on its original clutch at 120k.

Should add in driveshaft seals too, Davie, and probably the input shaft guide tube/seal if it's done plenty of miles.

Absolutely

I have the seals in stock but not a guide tube..

If you want to get them Davie, that'll be good. Seals at least to replace my stock...

The first delivery. I'm waiting to get all the bits I need before I get the car transported down the road. I can't find the guide tube and seal that I'm advised to replace also.

As soon as the clutch is here Jim, I'll get it organised. I can't find the guide tube seal thing to order, so have to hope it's ok. I have driveshaft seals ordered too. All this still was supposed to be next day delivery, but just the usual, never get next day delivery here. The delivery vans for tomorrow would all have been loaded before 5pm toight, if the lorry from south didn't get in to say 4 toight then it dosent get delivered until the next day yet. It's a bloody disgrace, especially when I'm always charged extra for highlands and islands, of which I'm in neither.
