Stuff comes exceedingly quickly from China, about four days is normal.

Ok, ill see what i can do :)

Id really like to come and think I will be going down now as im now off work Fri & Sat. I'll be aiming to arrive around midday on Saturday, hopefully before the drive out. Ill be in my C5, not that that will interest anyone, but if you spot me ...

Anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like at the event over the weekend?

What's the required DC voltage and type of input socket, I might have a car adapter that fits. Even if it doesn't, if you can get the right plug and my adapter is the right voltage, it'll be simple to splice the plug in and voila!

The weather bloke on the wireless said it would be not bad at all this weekend. Tomorrow is going to be horrible and Saturday and Sunday pretty much OK.

I guess it won't be as gloriuous as it was last year but in all honesty it was a bit too glorious and some of us ended up a bit sunburned....

Anyway, the sun always shines for the DSM!

Thanks for the offer mike, but if Kev has an invertor that would do the trick!

Think i might go outside and pressure test my front spheres!

I will do, one of my main reasons to attend is to meet some FCF members  It will be good to put a few names to faces.

Im sure i wont miss you, but if you see me first ... another 20 something but in a silver C5 :)

So ill be driving down on the Saturday, hopefully setting off around 7.30-8.00 and getting there for around 11.30. Ill be camping there on the Saturday night. You just turn up dont you?

Im pleased about the weather, as long as it doesnt rain too much it should be a good weekend.

Does anyone have a postcode for the area? Im sure ill be able to spot where the event is once in near ...

MK17 0PF, I believe, just behind the shoulder of mutton pub.

I have just tested my front spheres, the pressure tester is invaluable, just like Jim said, a mechanical lexia!

Found my front corner spheres to be 33 and 40 bar, so replaced them, but kept the old ones with a view to regas when I can afford the equipment!

I also tested the old rear centre sphere which i replaced before working out that the electrovalve was buggered. it was bang on 78bar!
I think as it was probably never cut in it has not lost any pressure!
Will look up on sphere table and possibly use to replace the accumulator on the xantia.

That is now every single sphere on the xm replaced! She should be wafting along.

Thanks Dave.

Your Xm should be riding superbly now, with all new spheres.

Seems there is going to be a bit of sphere testing at the show then.

Regassing equipment is certainly handy, with all your Cxs, Xms and the Xant your sure to put it to good use.
