Hi! i’ve received and change the accumulator. Now the p0868 error is gone, but still the gear change (more specifically the clutch release) is very slow. The symptoms are the following: when the actuator open or closes the clutch, it makes the engine go to high revs and also make the clutch slip. Once the gear is engaged, and the clutch is closed, there is no more slippage at all..Maybe I am doing the programming wrong? I don’t know..any ideas??

Did you carry out the last step when you go to the street and you have to carry out some of "drag race"

How many km is in the clutch?

I did that, but since it does the same thing every time I accelerate (I don’t notice any improvement from one try to the next one). I mean, I clean the values, start doing all the process and as soon as I start doing the “drag race” the problem is there, so I don’t see any point in repeating the entire process 3 times (maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong). I don’t know how many kilometers has the clutch since I just bought the car (it is 210000 km now). What is weird to me is that the clutch works perfect when is clutched, there is no slipage at all, yo can accelerete at the highest torque and the clutch won’t slip at all..

This is very interesting because this learning process solved my problem.

I think, this is good idea that you carry out learning process again.

I implemented the last step and now everyhing has been good for 3 years.

I cleaned the reservoir and replace the fluid as well. I have a question for you: when you did the box programing the first time after changing the accumulator, the problem was there in the first try? Or you noticed a big improvement from the very first moment?

When I replaced the accumulator immediately I carried out the learning process. So I do not know How would have had to work between after replace and before learning process.

Yeah, but I mean, while you carried out the learning process, the gear change between 1st and 2nd gear was fast since the first try? (The first “drag race” acceleration? Or it was bad at the beggining and getting better slowly?

Sorry to insist, but my questions is if when you started the learning process, the problem was already gone. Because I did the same as you, as soon as I replaced the accumulator, I went to the street to do the learning process, but I noticed that from the first acceleration, the problem was still there changing from 1st to 2nd gear. I kept doing the learning process, but the problem persist, So I want to know if you notice the difference since the very first time you accelerated when you started to do the learning process. Thank you so much for your support!

The first phase the step by step 1-2 1-3 1-4 etc. Last phase was the "drag race" In this case the transmission was better than former condition.

Yeah, according to Diagbox, these are the steps for the Gearbox Programming:
1- Erase old Values - Successfully
2- Grid Teaching - Sucessfully, the gears go fast and with now errors
3- Clutch point of contact - Sucessfully
4- Drive ("Drag race") - Here is where I have problems, when I accelerate, the delay "releasing" the clutch is still there.

Any other Ideas on where can I keep looking?

Thanks!!

I think the clutch is too old. I had to replace at 175.000 km.

Yeah, maybe that’s the issue here. What keeps me wondering is that when the gear is engaged, the clutch doesn’t slip at all.. but I guess I will have to change it and see what happens..

Thanks for all your help!

Hi! As I thought, I replaced the clutch, but the issue is still there, the clutch actioning is very slow. Any ideas on how I can continue with this?

the clutch is slow during you drive or when you start your car and you want to put from N to A.

Who replaced the clutch. you or another car mechanic . Who taught the cluch?
