You still have the pipe going in the opposite direction to how I got mine to fit:
Not saying mine is perfect but it's nowhere near that actuator lever

Sorry about the spider webs, you can tell this car has not moved for a while!
I wasn't keen on the short Mamba bolts either, but their supplied copper washers are much thinner - don't try and use the thick ones that come standard. No leaks for me, does not need to be incredibly tight at either end

Yes , I did try your way but I didn't like it( at mini there are too many hoses/ wires in the way of the oil filter,so that I choose to follow the original rute of that feed pipe.
ll fitted now, starting the engine, all run right but still some bits to sort with the suspensions....so might take couple weeks to get it sorted between my job and daily duties...
Hope there won't be any leaks and this turbo will last some k miles....
