Patient will have expired before they get there and there isn't any room to carry paramedic equipment.

They have Twizys as Paramedic vehicles at Nice airport, or at least they did the last couple of times I was there. I think they’d be great airside. I was driving airside at Heathrow only yesterday for work, and parts of it are quite tricky. A nippy little vehicle like that would be great, especially when I’ve no equipment or parts to carry.

If they price them similarly to what they are in France, €6900 with a €900 contribution then I reckon they could appeal in the UK to people living in cities. A lot of cities are adopting a 20mph speed limit so the Ami wouldn't be holding up traffic.

It's not a looker, not by any stretch but I think it's quirky and different. Seeing as Andre Citroen once said "Different is everything" I guess it's very Citroen!

I know they won't be to everyones taste, however, if you think about the purpose they are designed for as a tiny city car, they're pretty good at it.

If they do bring it to the UK in a "heavy Quadricycle form" with the upper speed restriction of up to 50 mph, I fully expect Citroen will be wanting to pitch it at the same sort of level as the Twizy ie not far short of £12,000.

That appears to be the desired price level at the moment. Another Heavy Quadricycle (50mph limit) available in the UK is the Me. It is built in China where it is 4000 euros equivalent, whereas on sale in the UK it is again at £12,000 ish.

In France this is how you get one....
"Acquiring an Ami is an entirely online process, in which the EV can be delivered to one’s home or collected from a pick-up point. It will also be available in traditional Citroën dealerships, as well as pop-up stands in shops, such as French department store chain Fnac."

There's one colour available: Blue Ami, which is a coloured material rather than a paint finish, and described as having "a huge impact" on cost-saving.

The Ami looks like a great car. I was just searching if I could lease one in the UK and realised that so far the Ami is not in the UK. Thanks for replying Mick. I hear what you are saying. My vision for the Ami is someone like my daughter, popping in the garage, unplugging it (or probably forgetting to unplug it ) and then driving it down the 30 mph roads to college. Never leaving the local area. Currently the range and max speed prohibits driving too far and too fast. Fingers crossed drivers will realise (or be told in their permit test) it is a local A-B car. I personally would use it just to drive to the shops which again are all 30mph roads. Leasing numbers I have read put it at around roughly £20 a month which compared to £200+ for normal cars which would do the same journey and mileage, for me it is a no brainer. I just need an A-B runabout. Of course, still love the idea of the open road, also been a truck driver, but I live somewhere those dream days went a long time ago now .
