Hi. Ok, so just to be clear:

RNEG2010 RT6 units are designed to work with vehicles with AEE2010 electronic architecture.
AEE2010 architecture was NOT fitted to the C5 X7! The X7 has an AEE2004 architecture.
Therefore your vehicle won't be completely compatible with RNEG2010. You need the older RT6 unit for compatibility I expect.

Thank you Marc,

So now we know, why my car does not fully accept this device.
Suprisingly well it work though. Or maybye I just don´t know what I am missing ;)
- some steering wheel buttons do not work as they should, I think, but in general I am satisfied...
It is what it is.

Next I´m trying to find how to install a parking camera in my system :)

yours, Markku

Markku - have a look at this post to see what another member did with his X7.

Again the RT6 has to be a certain hardware level to accept a rear camera input and display it - which you can't do in some of them. I know you can get Chinese kits that have independent wiring and a large control box to connect all the wiring from the camera and then to the Head Unit, but it is a LOT of work and expensive.

An aftermarket one that includes the electrochrome Mirror that 'The Ace' did on his may give you a simpler and more aesthetically pleasing result, as you can't tell it is aftermarket and provides the camera built into the rear view mirror. A simple, but effective solution that is probably a lot easier to install.

Thank you Marc

Sorry to hear, that I can not have parking camera installed in RT6 :(
-So if the seller would have sold me a correct model, this system would be possible to install into my car. Bad mistake from a professonal seller...

The rearmirror; maybe I give it a thought some day...
