Oh indeed. What we would do for our cars!!

My C5 was on sale here back in 2001. Last Citroen C5 sold here I think was 2012. Just never the C6. I think there are something like 27 c5 3.0 HDI v6 imported to SA. Such a shame. I am still at it. Still hoping

Anycase. Regarding the stereo system. What year was the rt3 replaced with an rt4 unit?

If a car doesn’t have satnav and only the ‘small’ display screen. Can a satnav screen be fitted?

Last question. Since the C6 was never imported to South Africa. Would it even be possible to use the satnav?

Hi Corne. No there are no maps for South Africa, so it won’t really matter to you as the system will have nothing to localise and no map to position you on. So not sure it will be worth a swap. The RT4s are very hard to find now.

But in any case the RT3 switched to RT4 in 2007, so a 2006 will have either one or the other. That was the only unit fitted after 2007 until 2012.

Still dreaming and getting paperwork etc to import a C6. I did however lose my chances on the previous one. I found another. Can I possibly give you the VIN to track the car’s building sheets?
