I'm sure this is a development of the system installed in bait cars that were left, under surveilance, to trap car thieves.
Lots of legal/liability issues, at least here & America but could prove a winner in S. Africa, where under sill flame throwers are OK & tracking companies employ (& deploy) armed response teams to intercept/recover.
