I had sent it to the supplier with all the other details.

Great I had seen that VIN from one of your other threads, and hence I was so insistant. I didnt want you to go through the trouble of ordering the wrong parts.
Anyways if you are still going for lizarte spheres:
Front X 2 : 20.00.0100
Front Center: 20.00.0122
Make sure to change all 3.
Please post in the forum about the quality of the ride post install so that this can benefit others. My experience with Lizarte has been good and they are cheap but would like to hear from others.

I've got the right one for sure now Spiff - no worries, but you should be good to go now, wherever you decide to get them from.spiff wrote: 14 May 2018, 19:01 My apologies Marc I must have sent the wrong one in the past : )

I have used AEP Direct in the past, as their prices are good, and they make sure the spheres are the right ones. The first time I used them they got back to me for the car reg, to make sure I had ordered the right spheres for the car (cost one day delay, as I was working and didn't get to read the email until the evening). The second time I used them I included the reg (different Xantia), and they sent the spheres out straight away.

Autodoc.
https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/5271h8
The Lizarte spheres are out of stock, they are the cheapest but have an incorrect pressure stated at 44.
I used the Autodoc chat box to enquire when stock would arrive, after being sent two incorrect links, one for an over seas site with nothing to do with spheres, then a link for headlights : )
The lady uttered a blaspheme, apologised then sent a link to some that are in stock made by Monroe.
There are a bit more expensive but do show the correct pressure 52 : )
I am going for a run round the cliff : )

As James says, well worth investigating the AEP prices and availability.

Re: C5 Spheres on eBay two for £45 + £8.50 postage ?
Good evening gentlemen,
One last thing before I purchase new spheres, I would like to try bleeding the hydraulics using the Lexia, as a lot of work has been done to the system.
The Citroen robotics I think it is called, to remove air from the suspension hydraulic system, perhaps made a small difference ?
I have had a good look through the various menu's on the Lexia, but nothing came up that pointed to this.
Is there a thread that some kind person could point me too that would assist in bleeding suspension hydraulic system.

Just make sure you don't run OFF the cliff Spiff!!
There is no Lexia-controlled bleeding option Spiff, the system will self-bleed - but this is the way to do it. See my post here, and follow down for the bleeding procedure. It is quite easy to do. It is the same for the C5 X7, so just skip to the relevant bit

Thank you Marc,
It was a lovely evening for a run and I am so grateful that I still can : )
I must have mixed things up with using the Lexia to depressurise the system.
Thank you for the link : )

You can depressurise but not bleed with the Lexia, as Marc says.
Citrobics is a gentle poke at Aerobics exercise, that bleeds the system (gets the air out
I do it frequently, the aim being not to get air out as there isn't any but more to exercise/lubricate the rams and to exercise the trailing arm bearings.
Seems to me that the normally unused sections of the rams would benefit from this and I haven't had any untoward effects as yet.
May be just wishful thinking of course but that won't stop me.

What lizarte recommends for the V6 engine, slightly higher pressure of 52 bars, i guess thats the one you are looking for

Re: C5 Spheres on eBay two for £45 + £8.50 postage ?
Good afternoon Skull,
I met a gentleman at the local boot sale who had a similar model to ours, with his permission I gave it a front and back bounce.
His was softer that ours at the front, but harder at the rear.
We then had a lift in a different make and model of car.
The conclusion is that ours is a lot smoother than the spring type suspension, there are a lot of road surfaces in Cornwall with the top layer in very poor condition.
We have left it at that, just had a cam belt and alternator kits fitted, also replaced the cartelistic converter ourselves.
I am looking at Rover 75s, dare I say that on here : ) sorry chaps : )
We love the look and the interior of them, vintage looking like us two : )
The C5 was only a temporary car, but I have had to do a lot of various repairs just to keep it going.

Re: C5 Spheres on eBay two for £45 + £8.50 postage ?
My youngest daughter had a 75 Connoisseur 2L Diesel that was excellent - we often swapped cars as I had a C5 estate then and she was always shifting heaps of stuff around.
Have to say it was very pleasant and compared well with the C5 - until we swapped back again and the superior suspension of the C5 was immediately apparent - and compared with previous Citroens, I am somewhat disappointed with the C5 suspension.
The built in (BMW) satnav was miserable though.
She sold it and bought a Clio to save cash as she was a bit squeezed at the time - bad decision, the Clio was a complete misery and cost more to run that the 75.
