Well, a week or so ago, the handbrake lever on my sticking caliper finally gave in to metal fatigue.
Ordered a replacement from the eBay seller, and following an exchange of emails to check the correct part, it arrived two days later.
The replacement is indistinguishable from new (and may actually be so - they say that they supply new if no refurb stock). Fitted today with no problem, and two year warranty to boot.
In future, if I have the sticky caliper issue, I shan't waste too much time trying to sort it, it's just not worth it at that price!
(Once again, no connection with seller, except as happy customer).

Hi dnsey, glad this has worked out for you, how much are (refurb?) calipers these days?

Rear callipers.

Front calliper.

Info only, I haven't used these suppliers.

Excellent price for f/caliper. When I got a refurbed one for £70.00 and later on had further problems I experimented with the extra external spring which so far touch wood works fine.
