yes sounds about right Peter.. based on the voltages Martin mentioned..
did not get near car in the end, will have to sort it tomorrow now :twisted:

I think Peter's right - you must have at least 1 duff GP. My own TD gives me a bus-bar voltage of about 9.7 volts on first switching on, when all 4 GPs are working

well sorry for the delay all.. finally back to normal.. just been back out to car..

turned out plugs 3 and 4 ( if #1 is flywheel) had gone, plus plug #1 which I changed last week..

so 3 plugs must have all gone within a few days it would seem...

I think I was panicing a bit what with everything else going on... and had suddenly got it into my head I had broken the pump.. :twisted:

ps a 12mm ratchet spanner used behing the injection pipes on #4 makes it easier still.. (after removing just the small bore coolant pipe on ?TD's)

I had that plug out and changed in about 5 mins all told ;)
