V6 Heater Pipes and matrix

I have replaced the matrix in the dash but have an issue relocating the dash...ie with the matrix & fire wall plate attached I am afraid to damage the matrix forcing the lot back & across the 15mm to the left... see photo .
--- any tricks to do this, ??
--- should I remove the firewall plate connectors first?
--- I assume there is another of those bolts sticking thru the fire wall on the left of the car behind all the hydraulic piping, should I undo that too to locate the dash properly?
