its only because christmas in on the approach my car does the same to me right at the last moment, I think they know we are trying to save up and see the oppertunity to play up...lol

Probably lol , i tend to have things happen every week ( not just car related )

If it's any help...

When my lad's Peugeot 306 gearbox went, I took an afternoon off and pulled his box out, I put it in the back of my truck and went up to the local scrappys, now lots of Pug / Cits use the same box but with some very slight differences, using his as a pattern I made sure that I got the correct one and it cost me £40.00 when I said that I would be leaving the old one for them to scrap, I got £20.00 knocked off.

Bargain I thought !!
