Thanks Zel, appreciated.. . He's being treated for pneumonia and at 92 with COPD it's not a good thing to have.

Fingers crossed he'll be OK but I feel the need to be down with him.

You need to be where you need to be. The car is of little consequence. You take as much time as is needed.

Team WFA will be ready to assist or takeover with whatever is required but seriously number one priority is you and yours.

From previous experience, hospitals are not the best places to be for the elderly and ill. Try to get him home Jim, if possible.

True enough... This is his second time in within the week Lexi.. We did get him home from the first issue and he seemed fine until today when he went down with pneumonia...

It's a good hospital he's in and he's being well looked after... Been to see him this evening and he's awake, alert and comfortable despite fears he'd not see the end of today...

Sorry to hear of your dad's ill health Jim. How old is he? Reason for asking is that we've recently been to'ing and fro'ing on the hospital run to attend a 97yr old mother in law and it's true to say that they're a resilient breed at or around that age. Fingers x'd for him. Sounds like he's getting the best of treatment but I know from experience that it can be a worrying time for all. Best wishes.

Mike, dad is 92. Still very mentally alert and until now has nor been a lot of bother medically... Dad's built of very stern stuff and has loads of fight and spirit in him still.

All the best for you mum in law, hope she's soon fighting fit

After a long break (it seems) for family reasons, today has seen lots of lovely progress on Davie's Activa clutch today :-D

Photos don't do the amount of work completed justice as much of it was replacing hidden bits...

Activa Accumulator now back in place along with the ABS bracket and ABS block amongst much else

Image

And a really big job, the RH front suspension and brakes completely rebuilt :D

Sadly and reluctantly, health and wellbeing has dictated that I now draw today's work to a conclusion as I'll not be fit for work tomorrow otherwise..

More work will be done on Wednesday...

I charged up the battery today as I did have high hopes the car would be back on its wheels today... It's not far off now...
