LEZ was back home & got a wash. I also got to go in it as a rear seat passenger! Daughter no. 2 loves it.

"I'll get up early & wash it" she said!

I'm a back seat driver now

It was bought from an Ebay seller, as was the grey Citroen one. It was a few years ago now that I owned that car. I usually always change wheels or put graphics on a car, its things that can easily and cheaply be changed.

Quick update
The VTS was home for an oil and filter change which meant I got to drive it. It is still fun once you get the revs up and still looks smart from a few feet away haha!

The old oil was still pretty clean...

The best view is from the back...

But it still looks smart from the front...

Maybe I should get a THP Loeb now?

Hey, licence plate on the upper part of the bumper looks sharp! Very nice!

Thanks, doesn't look so good up close after it was keyed down both sides and the boot lid, I did my best to touch up and polish it out but still.
I think it's on about 114k miles

Thanks, my daughter wanted a slight change, we thought the flat section of the bumper where the plate is meant to go would look strange but it actually looks ok!

Wow, I can't believe it's been more than five years since I last posted in this thread...
Soon after I made the last post on here, daughter No2s driving licence was wrongly taken away from her for medical reasons by DVLA and no amount of phone calls, letters applications, explanations from her doctor would have any effect (or even reply!), then out of the blue last May a new licence plopped on the door mat!
So I went straight over to my mum's house where the VTS had sat in her garage for nearly five years and put the battery on charge, when that didn't work I fitted a new battery and here we go

I phoned my local mechanic, TSW in Bexhill where Tom told me he'd write it down for MOT and to bring it straight along, so with insurance arranged off it went.
The next day Tom had fitted new rear brake calipers and disks, welded up the blowing exhaust and we were legal!
Obviously I had a good drive around in it (to check it was ok, you understand) before taking it to Norwich for Daughter.

We have had a few teething problems with it, such as needing a brake light switch and the exhaust falling apart right in the centre section, you can't get an exhaust for these any more so Tom welded up that bit as well.
Daughter is over the moon to be driving again and loving the car, I gave her some cleaning materials including Turtle Wax Jet Black and she's been keeping it looking good

The black wax disguises the scratches where it's been keyed pretty well

I made a model of it to give her for Christmas

She was very pleased with that

It's a great car and I love being able to enjoy it even though I don't own it any more. Daughter loves it, but it isn't really that practical for her being not all that economical and very expensive to tax, amazingly the insurance wasn't at all bad especially considering she no longer had any NCD.
(Those of you that use Autoshite forum (Davie, Myglaren & Zealandeth, I think) may have seen this already.)
