I was chatting to Lidl guy about their offers, saying that they disappear from stock very quickly, he told me that if not sold on the week offered it's all shipped to another main store, in or case to Monmouth.

So if you think you've missed out ask your local shop where they send their left overs, you may still be able to buy not too far away.

The pneumatic tools arrived here at Lidl last week: impact wrench (€34), reciprocating saw (€19!), hammer, rotary sander, angle grinder, plus a decent assortment of tubing, couplers and connectors, and a small compressor. Not sure the compressor's small tank would allow much prolonged use of something like the angle grinder. Not a bad starter assortment.

Air tools are always a very good investment... I currently have two compressors. One portable with a decent tank which can be taken to the job away from the workshop...

Great for doing tyres...

Well, for the pedal pushers amongst us, Aldi are doing cycle stuff from 29th September;

They are also doing tools from 25th September. The stove lamp is a clever design. My Mum has one on her narrow boat. It works by use of a peltier semiconductor device. Pop it on a hot stove, and it will, within a few minutes, have the fan turning, blowing the warmth around;
