I know it's terribly unflattering comparison (and is driven by the rear engine) but these always looked like a "much sexier Amphicar" to me!

As the presenter says...this is the story of the Renault Floride... I have watched it sparked an interest which I have had for a while now! If there's nowt on the TV worth a watch

The concept got an airing on the interiors and dashboards interesting and awful thread when it appeared at the Shanghai motor showa couple of years ago. Looks like they have toned down the interior installed a conventional steering wheel and re-invented the Mazda MX5 with fancy doors.

I quite like it myself, to me it seems to be a cross between the MX5 and the MGB roadster brought up to date, just needs some ordinary doors and I could go for it:

For a modern, that rests quite easily on my eye... Like you Mick, I'm not sure about the gull-wing doors either...

They're not true gull wing as they surely hinge out from the centre line of car. Á la DeLorean:
