I do and I've had to resist a strong temptation a few times now Dan, especially when it's an Activa...
Happily, I still get to lay spanners on them from time to time so my desire is sort-of satisfied every now and again

I've been scratching my head all afternoon trying to remember your name and it came to me about three minutes before I read this post!

It's good you at least get to scratch the itch via spannering on Xantias Jim, don't forget to extensively test-drive them "to make sure they're fixed" of course

I spotted an S reg burgundy Xantia in Midhurst early this morning, and later on (when heading back) I spotted a J reg blue 205 GTi.

A proper 'in the wild' Xantia spot yesterday
Spotted whilst enjoying a sausage bap and coffee in a cafe during an excellent day out with Mick...
I thought I vaguely recognised the owner...

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Spotted last Sunday while driving couldn't take a photo , 2CV towing a trailer both in a loved condition and moving along the road perfectly. Was a sight to see.
Husky.
Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Not "spotted" as in seen it on the roads, but actually it's geographically not that far from me.
Quite an unusual DS! Particularly the back end!! Guess needs an SVA to put on the road legally? (I'm correct none came like that from new??

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
If it comes with valid SA registration which matches the modified state, then you might get away without an SVA. It would be stretching things.

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
That's a very different DS
A great project that would result in a very unique car
