A Renault Wind.
Went to pick daughter up from our car fixit man. There is often a Wind in the car park but this one was in his 'forecourt'.
Tried to get a snap of it but very little room and the stupid phone decided to take a video. No glasses so attempt abandoned.
Probably for sale but no use to me.

Page one post one back in 2010, Sid the Squid from Hemel Hempstead will surely be pleased that it is still going in 2023, and a new entry from me bang on topic.
Sid_the_Squid wrote: 09 Jul 2010, 10:02 Hi All,
Seems I have a new neighbor with a lovely silver Xantia with personalized reg plate. Have not seen up close yet, so not clear on the specifications, also due to vague parking arrangements I don't know exactly which house is theirs either. Is this anyone on here living in HP1 area with a Silver Xantia on a personal plate?
Formerly of course the life blood of the French Car forum, and a collection of contributors with vast knowledge and first hand experience of the particular model highlighted in Sid the Squid's eponymous spotting thread...

No more beating about the bush

I saw a R Reg Citroen Xantia on the road this morning in, let's not be more precise than "Grey-ish". Smart, moving under its own steam, and no visible sign of iron oxide as it cruised past :-D

Not sure if this should be in barn finds, Spotted French Stuff, or coincidences!

This came up on my Facebook feed yesterday, needs work but looks a solid foundation for a project for someone keen
Screenshot_20240216-174151.png
The coincidence is with the reg number of the Blue 16RS we had between about 1989 and 1994:

Can only have been a few weeks apart being registered, presumably from the same garage. JH appears to have been Reading. To compound we had another JH - the brown Visa special (RJH 822Y). And my Dad is JH West!

I'll stick a link to your post on the unlikely coincidences thread Richard, and in a tangental very very unlikely co-incidence I delved over to e-bay just out of interest to see the listing of the BX from "Barn Finds" with a simple "barn finds search on google. A click on top of the list and up pops this ultra rare French offering from Peugeot with a Dundee connection, when along with Citroen at the turn of the Century the French had their pioneering electrique offerings.

Black 1.9D auto (and myself) still alive and checking in. :) Good to see some of the old guard still active here.

Well, let's face it she doesn't make enough power to hurt herself! haha

She's looking a little worse for wear currently but still doing sterling service & even pulling a twin axle car trailer (also due to haul a ZX home from Lincoln at the weekend). I'm loathe to make her look pretty again as circumstances mean street-parking in Manchester but keeping the bones solid is main priority & got lots of cosmetic parts in the stash still. Also still running vegetable oil, even if we don't make it into the news with it any more!

You should grab yourself another before they get too rare, they deserve to be in your ownership preservation-wise.

Now that is a rare spot Alasdair :-D

Good to see Daffodil out too! Amazing how I can recognise an AX from just a little of the bonnet line and wiper position ;)

I'm strictly AX these days due to garage and driveway space... That's not to say I've not been very tempted to on many occasions... The urge to is strong
