well im afraid i havent got to the bottom of this as i really dont have a decent car anymore and gota go
cars full of water and moldy now so i gota send her off and get something else
may i say thanks to everyone who has tried to help me..your all great

really wish i could just know but im pretty sure it was ecu as other readings from other people who had same prob it was a faulty ecu
got a baby boy here any week now so i cant mess about now just gota get another car

Looks like a nice one. Even better if you can keep the old one for spares. Don't know where it is but it's 87 miles from London.

And 56 miles from Reading, which would indicate it is (probably) closer to Swindon. Only down side is that it's a Forte, which means LX, so the wiring for the electric seats probably won't be in place.
