You don't need luck, Alasdair, not with the way you look after your vehicles.

You'll be fine Alasdair, and so will the car... I do fully understand though... I'm exactly the same, if not a lot worse...

That's a bugger on those discs

Alasdair, that's fantastic news =D> :-D

Mind you, I never doubted that would be the result of your MOT for a split-picosecond ;)

I did see a lower engine mount that I am not "happy" with however, the MoT tester laughed at me and said "that is fine np".
I would like to change it however

What is the job like on a V.6 ?

Now that is a lovely result Alasdair... Excellent :D

One thing worth knowing if this is the same one as used in a 1.9TD and other XU engine Xantias, especially the TCT Activa...

Nice to have an OEM one in a new bracket, save faffing about pressing in cheap ones :)

I am pretty sure that the lower mount is the same as the other PSA engines.
I think that it will be a LOT easier to change if you take it out of the bracket and just change the bush.

I quite agree, already expressed this view to Alasdair outside the forum!

I'd certainly not faff about trying to do it in-situ - I know how tight these are in the housing... Removing the driveshaft is a price to pay to do the job easily, safely and being able to use a bench press...

Generally, so often and in many cases, a little more dismantling and doing the job on the bench can be so much easier - and quicker! - than struggling in-situ...
