While you are in the area you might (if you have not already planned to do so) want to visit The Kent and East Sussex Railway. It runs from Tenterden to Bodium, through Rolvenden, Northiam, and Wittersham Road (which was opened by Edward Heath; I was allowed the day off from school, and was there in the background in my school uniform. My headmaster then could say he HAD seen me there, so I had not bunked off school!).

This evening finds us in our luxury 2 bed apartment in Bere Regis having had another great day traversing the coast from Hastings, through to Poole and then up here. We had to meet an ebay buyer in Poole to deliver one of Jim's old fishing reels and that went well. I'll leave the rest of the detail to the final write up!! :-D

That video still cracks me up, was he running or being pushed forward by a ghost?

Peter, don't know if you were in Kent or Dorset in 1971

The the only Dorset Citroen Dealer on the 1971 Motor Show Catalogue advert I posted was at Puddletown: Old and Sons, but one at Exeter too which may have been nearer.

I think the nearest one is at Ottery St Mary, Devon now - if they are still going. We had just arrived in Dorset then, 1970.

Don't worry Alasdair, we're not that close yet ;) We're going the long way via Land's End :)
