Well the silver xantia is getting there, accu sphere, LHM and cambelt yet to do (why do people ignore such vital items!!), insides had a good clean and it is MINT, the outside has been washed, polished and half a pound of tar removed from its lower portions!

Lots of small dings and scratches to attend too, thankfully being silver it doesn't stick out to badly

I am still after a front bumper insert and nearside door mouldings which seem to be made out of unobtainium.

I bought this before Christmas for a laugh!

Ooooooo a VDP Metro! Wow! .. No leccie windows though, I beleve the metro did get them eventually in VDP trim, didnt they??

nice.. always had a mute and silent quiet spot for metros.. lol.. in VDP form only..

This is good fun, old school, manual choke, 4 gears etc and it handles like a go cart!

All metro were 4 speed.. there was no space for a 5 speed box in them

1.3 A series what were they 75bhp or a bit more??

I wish! They were 63 or 73 with an MG head.

Oh wow.. look at that tim.. I recalled that bhp off top of my head from my teenage days of book worming the Parkers usee car guides....

Should lhm be the colour of nearly new engine oil?

I'm thinking not, and filters black?

New accu sphere on and the tanks been thoroughly cleaned as has the filters and 4 litres of fresh green in tomorrow.

That should do it. When I got my Activa, the LHM was the same colour as old bitter! Frothy too!
