C5 X7 Changed crank sensor now wont start. Help!

Highly unlikely, but check the fuse protecting the OBD port hasn't gone pop !

On three cars? possible but I would think highly unlikely.

Peter,

Have you checked the crankshaft wiring. If this is exposed causes lots of problems.

All looks OK have given it a good pull at the plug but nothing moves, Looks in good nick too, the plug is quite easy to remove do doesn't stress it a lot.

Any ideas what the voltages should be on the plug pins?

Peter,

I can't remember but it will either be 12 volts or 5 volts. I'll need to find my own thread about the sensor to see if I put measurements on there.

Just checked my old thread confirmed 5 volts.

Peter, whilst I think of it ;) So that I can run my Diagbox, can you please arrange for a mains supply to be very close to the car... Although my Diagbox laptop has a new battery, it's not that brilliant - but then, what can you expect for a fifteen quid eBay special!

Power in garage and extension leads Jim, just inside main door on the right, where the batteries are.
