Re: Citroen service advice
Re: getting it to the dealer, I wonder if it might be worth taking out breakdown cover, calling them out to your home for a non start and (if they can’t fix it) they should then transport it to the garage for you?

Re: Citroen service advice
One final update. My son ended up paying ££s to get the car back to the dealers. The PCP deal ends next month at which point he’ll be asked to pay a lump sum to keep the car (why on earth would he want to do that?) or return the keys. Ombudsman reckons that as he’s now returned the car he has no physical evidence that there was anything wrong with it at the end of the PCP deal, the dealer will simply get it fixed up, pass it out to a local car dealer and leave them to deal with problems going forward. All this despite the protracted dealings my son has had with the dealers, ‘customer care department’ and the finance section over the past few years. The finance section repaid him three months payments but apart from that Citroen have washed their hands of him, still not met his out of pocket expenses. Citroen have left my son and his entire family emotional and financial wrecks and haven’t given a toss.

Re: Citroen service advice
Entirely unsatisfactory sequence of events. I’m sorry this happened to them, thank you for letting us know how it’s concluded.

Shameful service !!!AngryDad wrote: 25 Apr 2025, 22:02 Citroen have left my son and his entire family emotional and financial wrecks and haven’t given a toss.
Do not limit your anger at only Citroen, they are just a "brand" within/under/part of the (old PSA) system in the UK who via Stellantis now run lots of other makers incld Vauxhall, Fiat, Peugeot etc....be as concerned about all the "service/assistance" schemes offered by them as well. (as you should be with JLR I would think

Re: Citroen service advice
Absolutely disgraceful and would put me off Citroen and related marks for life.
