BX TZD Reversing light switch.

In a game of Word association in the distant future someone will say maxi to which the reply will be reversing light switch[:D][:D][:D]

Yes sorry about that shouldn't have gone off on a tangent like that. But just have soft spot for the old girl. Any how I take it then that the switch can't be screw'd in a little further so as to make a better contact?

The switch is homed in the casing - even got a cu-O-ring seal.

I wouldn't mess about with it. It is a matter of removing a fair bit of plumbing to get it out so I'd prefer to replace it with a new component. If a job is worth doing it's worth doing once!

The MAXI was a great car, let down by the usual BL philosphy of throwing the things together.
Last year I did I TV show for Men & Motors & my research showed that a MAXI has more space inside than a Ford Focus, which incidently has bigger exterior dimensions!
