It didn't work for me, but then again, I'm not sure if my VCI is full chip or not. I have been told that can make the difference for a lot of things using a clone. I learned my lesson.
I bought myself a second hand Launch x-431 Euro tab, which has the option to pay for online access if I ever need it again.
It's definitely worth saving the pennies up to buy a decent genuine tool.
