One thing I have noticed is that in the Citroen screen on Lexia there is only ZX, Xantia and XM.
I think I am reluctantly going to have to reinstall tomorrow.
I think it's possible to go up to 7.83 but there is no need seeing as it was working with non full chip clone but 3 years ago.
I think I've cocked the Configuration up somehow.
Lexia/Diagbox Engine and Airbag ECU not recognized, but others are

Hi Paul.Paul-R wrote: 04 Mar 2026, 20:50 7.57 should be late enough for the 2013 Peugeot 3008. My 2013 C5 is fine with 7.58.
Can you confirm that the Win 7 is Pro and not Home version?
Sorry missed this question last night.
Yes. It's Pro (with 2 days left for activation...) so that's not the issue.
Weird how I can only see ZX, Xantia and XM in that screen on 7.57 slower laptop.
Currently downloading 7.57 VM version and will try that. As the faster laptop is running 7.02 cleanly, I cannot help be think that I am now chasing my tail.
On the slower laptop, I was getting an acti-diag error after the programme shuts down but no such errors on 7.02 on faster laptop so again that doesn't read the airbag and aircon ECU either.
I started going through the 25241 photos on my iPhone to find any Lexia photos or videos.
The last time I was able to read those ECU's, bear in mind that I haven't had a working Lexia for 2.5 years, was 2nd October 2023 (more for my reference when I cannot find the photos again!!!). Luckily I happened to take a photo of the configuration screen at that point too. No idea why though. Hope I hadn't changed anything.
Oh dear! I also have a photo saying configuration in process!!! So I must have changed something but what! Damn it!
This is also the time I was faffing around with the terminals in the OBD socket. I have already double/triple checked that all wires are in their correct locations. Remember that my mate's Autel reads everything!
I also have a video on that day where it wouldn't find ANY ECU!
The next day I went up to mate's and plugged in KTS590 using UNI-4 cable which allowed me to connect direct to ECU and read engine ECU data. Later that day, I have photos of my stripped Lexia - obviously looking for faults. I desoldered the 15 pin header. This is all very bizarre and I am trying to recollect the sequence of events. I also went to another mate's on 28th September 2023 and used his KTS. He didn't have the UNI-4 cable and I have a photo of fault codes so it was clearly reading from OBD on that day. 4 days later still reading with Lexia. Day after that, the other mate's with the UNI-4 cable (because the only thing I can recall is communications stopped probably sometime late on 2nd October! It's a good job I take plenty of photos.
I'm now thinking that I mis-wired the OBD at that point on 2nd Oct and that I changed the configuration from I know not what. Will keep scanning photos for earlier configuration photo but as there are seemingly NO settings in configuration that mention airbag or aircon. I think more guessing / tinkering is the only way I am going to get this resolved.
About a month ago when I received latest full chip Lexia (which isn't full chip as it was missing 10k resistor), I stripped OBD again and actually plumbed wires from car directly onto relevant Lexia pins to rule out the issue I am experiencing with signal ground (Pin 4 or 5) which had been pushing back in the OBD connector on insertion.

Re: Lexia/Diagbox Engine and Airbag ECU not recognized, but others are
The BSI & the CPH are 2 completely different things, The Xantia was never fitted with a BSI. The only relationship The ECU & CPH have is the immobiliser unlock handshake.Rhothgar wrote: 04 Mar 2026, 20:37 it is likely that the BSI has all the information for telling the ECU what systems are onboard but I doubt the CPH was advanced enough.
I am also wondering about configuration screen. I have set it to Wired BSI or absent. Technically it's not a BSI so wonder if I should try absent.
The BSI is a central gateway that talks to & connects all the other ECU's on the car, The CPH is not even close to this. It is basically a glorified Alarm, immo & central locking & interior lighting module.
Since the Xantia doesn't have a BSI then i would set it to absent.

Agreed. My point is that a car with a BSI probably has all the information but the Xantia does not with it having the CPH. Not had chance to try it yet as I am still trying to reinstall Diagbox because all the missing models seemed odd. There should be more than ZX, Xantia and XM.wheeler wrote: 05 Mar 2026, 16:57The BSI & the CPH are 2 completely different things, The Xantia was never fitted with a BSI. No doubt you’ve seen that I added the 10k resistor. No difference.
Woukd you agree that if my mate’s Autel can read airbag that there is nothing wrong with communications?
It’s boiling my head now.

Re: Lexia/Diagbox Engine and Airbag ECU not recognized, but others are
Wheeler et al.
I am 100% convinced now that the Lexia is the issue.
Reinstalled to 7.57. Can see all models for Citroen. Airbags and aircon still not reading.
When I go into change configuration of engine ECU I make the changes and click F1 which tells me to Click * to validate. It says In Progress and then tells me to switch ignition on (but it’s already ON!).
Switch off then on again and it bombs out and says card incorrectly installed.
I have until tomorrow to open a return request.
Marc suggests in his posts to Gibbo that it’s not only the 10k resistor that may be missing in FULL CHIP Lexias but says no more.

Confirmed. Lexia was the issue. I will do a post about it in my War Horse blog where I will do a detailed post in due course about my trials and tribulations.
Basically, I resurrected my old broken Lexia and it's even running Rev C firmware now and works a treat.
