In response to the questions

The garage reset the codes and then fixed some other stuff to get the car through the MoT (not sure they reset the system)

No odour detected

BTW, Errors have disappeared again.

I'd recommend replacing the AdBlue injector... Loads of them on Amazon at an easily affordable price and I can confirm they're OK...

Replacement of the injector is easy... The biggest hurdle you may encounter is removing the undertray due to corroded fixing bolts...

Hi All . . .
The 'SERVICE' light went off as I was on my way to 'CitroJim' . . ??!!
However, it has popped up a couple of times since . .
I found that I can reset it by turning on the Headlights and then operating the 'Fog Lights' switch . . .'Service' light then resets . . .???!!
I think I will need to replace either the front or rear foglight lamp(s) . . But funny that there is no error code for guidance . . . :-(
I will update after replacing the rear lamps first . . . (Hopefully the easier ones . . . )
Anyone else had this issue . . ?

That is bizarre! I don't think the fog lights are directly responsible for this turn of events... It sounds to me like the current surge caused by the lights turning on is having a fortuitous effect. I'd be inclined to carefully check the wiring to the AdBlue components and foglights, initially by checking the security and cleanliness of connectors; the AdBlue injector one particularly - it lives in a very exposed and hostile environment.

Keep us posted...
