As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Hope you've managed to get something positive sorted. If we had circuit diagrams and pictures showing where the various starter system components are situated we might be able to get further.
Although I can't be sure, I think the BSM (fusebox) might be OK as we can hear a relay operate when the key is operated. The relay itself (which is a non-replaceable item separately) might be faulty internally of course but voltage checks along the way would tell us that.
Keep us informed of what happens though.

On how to test if the starter is operating/getting a feed. Its for a C3 but the starter wiring set up on this Berlingo should be the same.
