I think that label states NOT approved for use in China... Some PSA vehicles made for the Chinese market are totally different versions to European models.

I can't find any manufacturer info on those lights and they are not the PSA internal part numbers.

Thank you for taking the time to obtain a photo for me. It seems that these RHD headlights are very rare and the chances of getting a used one are quite low.

I don't think they are RHD or LHD (but definitely check for yourself). I just googled the part number from the sticker in my photo, for the right one (9808717980-00), and found this...

https://motopoland.com.ua/qsearch/9808717980-00/1/

...which suggests that the same left and right lights are used regardless of which side of the road they drive on.

But they look different to mine, perhaps they are the basic version, I don't know.

Try opening that link in the Chrome browser and translating it. This is the equivalent of about £200. Add a bit of delivery, it could be a serious option. Subject to lots of checking of course. Pay by credit card, you then are fully covered if there are any issues.

and here...

In fact loads of websites, just google some of the numbers from my photo. These came from searching for "al-proj b81 cem00"

One of the photos shows a label that states "Visteon", so they are likely to be the manufacturer. It might be worth checking with them to find out what they are, if you can buy directly etc.

Guys - there ARE separate lamp units for LHD and RHD vehicles for these headlamps on the DS5 for ALL variations of Headlamp type, Halogen, Discharge, Discharge & LED.

Are you sure? That one listed in Poland/Ukraine is the same part number as mine.

Perhaps the number is just the plastic back shell or something, as they were different types anyway.

Yes I'm sure - that's likely not to be a part number. All I'm saying is that OFFICIAL Citroen / DS parts data have different part numbers for each headlamp type for LHD and RHD vehicles. That's why we only use official data from Citroen / DS.

Could you please attach the wiring diagram for the headlights on my vehicle. Still trying to get the main beams working. All the other errors are gone now.
Thanks

No, not without a lot of work. I suggest you send them back to the dealer if it was their mistake!

Xenons have different levelling systems, require body height sensors front and rear a Headlight ECU, wiring and configuration to the BSI and a headlamp wash system.

Thanks Marc for your quick response to this problem you say not without a lot of extra work but didn't realise the headlight wash as well as body height indicators.i have spoken to a auto electrician but I doubt he doesn't realise the work involved. He wanted to try to see if its possible but was going to cost me £200 and hope he could. But i think not. Will take your advice and try a possible exchange. Any one out there wants to do a deal on a exchange would love to hear from them many thanks MARC
