That would seem to be the case. To do this inside the vehicle you may want to turn off the ultrasonic interior alarm protection first whilst you experiment (if locking the car inside using the locking button before operating the mirror control).

Ultrasonic interior alarm? Not even sure what that is! What does that do?

It's what annoying dog owners forget to disable when they park in Tesco's and leave their dogs in the car setting off the bloody movement detection, triggering the alarm every 2 minutes and driving everyone crazy. :mecker:

It depends if you have the alarm fitted - some European countries don't have it fitted.

That will be why then, I just checked your specs and your vehicle is without alarm, so must be the original destination country's laws.

There's a similar problem with the C8, 807s and fiats setting off the internal alarm. Took me ages to figure out it was the pull down 'child' mirror that was causing the issue.
