Cheers Paul. I'll be in touch when you're back home.Paul-R wrote: 03 Jun 2023, 12:37 You need to check availability as well. When I had my problem a couple of years ago I was told that there were none in the country and that they were on back order at the factory! I'll be back in the UK next weekend if you can wait.

Re: C4 picasso Injector 1
Could be worth getting the injector tested and refurbished if needed. I had four tested and one of them refurbished for just over £100 a few years ago.

Re: C4 picasso Injector 1
Adblue / Urea faults won't have anything to do with the diesel injectors as they have no interaction with each other, so should not trigger a diesel injector fault.Mexico14 wrote: 03 Jun 2023, 22:09Wow. That's crazy. I was wondering if its worth doing all 4, perhaps I'll wait until each one fails then replace.GiveMeABreak wrote: 03 Jun 2023, 11:33Sitting comfortably? With that code would you say the Injector is definitely knackered, couldn't be a fault triggered by the adblue issue? Would injector cleaner be worth a try?
If it was me, I'd certainly be putting some Diesel fuel system / injector cleaner (Wynn's / STP) into the fuel tank and going for a drive to get that circulating - and would repeat when next adding fuel to try and get any deposits out of the system first. Has to be worth a punt to see if that will clear the error. If it does, then regularly add some each month to keep it clean.

I used this https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/wynns-wy ... mwQAvD_BwE
Seems to have worked a treat. No more I ejector faults.

Re: C4 picasso Injector 1
Great - cheaper than an injector if it does the job.
Maybe consider using premium diesel once every few tankfulls as the additional cleaners will help keep the fuel injection system clean.

I usually fill up at Costco if I can. I believe there's is supposed to be premium diesel? Recently I've filled up at the "go" branded unmanned station as they were the cheapest in the area. Perhaps I'll give them a wide berth from now on.

Re: C4 picasso Injector 1
I use Gulf and they have a 'premium diesel' which I use every third or fourth tankful. It's a few pence a litre more - but hey ho, we were paying 30-40 pence a litre more a week or to ago for the normal diesel - so swings and roundabouts.
Shell also have their V-Power option which I've always used.
Personally I avoid supermarket pumps where possible and stick to branded stuff - which may only be a penny or so a litre more.
