Does this unit control charging to the HV battery also??

No, the Battery Charge Status Unit has nothing to do with the actual charging of the battery - it's job is to monitor the battery health and inform the BSI of the battery's condition to help the BSI fine-tune the energy management strategy.

If you have a fault on the charging circuit it will be further back - somewhere from the alternator to the battery.

Hi Marc I am still having that issue after changing that sensor near the negative battery terminal we towed the car a recharged the battery and it drives great but the 200v charging not working
