Just catching up on this thread
The DPF has been changed, was Diagbox/Lexia used to tell the car it had been changed ?
legepe you have posted screenshots but were there any fault codes thrown up in the global test ?
Really need any faults stored before you go spending cash imo

Wild card the Turbo Solenoid Valve filter blocked being a 1.6 not helping ?

There were no faults apart from the P1490.. I would have told the car the dpf was changed 01/10/21 (if i did it correctly??) The car had other problems after this which included replacing the Turbo solenoid valve 08/07/22 - so I was running car up until 08/07/22 with the airflow senser disconected and a wire in fuse box under bonnet for quite a few months to stop it going into limp mode! I know that I shouldnt have done this! and it probably didnt help with the dpf issue I have now!

Ok, so this vehicle is a BERLINGO PRIVATE VEHICLE (B9) FAMILY SALOON 1.6 HDi 16V 92 (DV6DTED Euro 5) Manual gearbox 5.

Regarding the DPF - It's a difficult one as you'll find that some of the cheaper DPFs don't use quality components as the originals, so you may be replacing them far quicker. On the other hand, because these are sensitive components, they need to be handled appropriately during the removal and cleaning process, as the internal cement can become damaged and will then break up the filter.

So it's a risk both ways when not purchasing an original or exchange filter. They are more expensive, but will last another 100k miles or so.

Hi Marc
Just to get back to you... I was having problems with the diagbox not working properly.. and have spent ages today trying unsucessfully to get it work so far! however, just to let you know, I got the cheap DPF instead of getting the origional one cleaned. should get it hopefully tomorrow. but unless I can get the diagbox to work, I may have to just take it to a garage for fitting and reprogramming
Thanks for your advice and help with this.. Ill let you know how I get on

I've split this off into another thread as it was going way off-topic with Diagbox installation issues. Please continue the Diagbox posts on the thread linked here:
