I'm not at all sure that CHF1 is suitable. There's no specification sheet available on the page so I can't check.

Where did you get that part number from?

When I bought it it said it was compatible with Citroen LDS.
As said, I only needed it to raise the car to be transported, the garage that replaced the pipe drained the system and filled with fresh LDS.

I have a suspicion that before it leaked it had been filled with Dexron, and overfilled.
Never did anything about it and had no problems with it.

You don't want that anywhere near your X7 ^. Only use LDS not CHF or any other power steering fluid.

It could be worth checking to see if MDC (Motor Discount Centres) has a branch near you. They do carry LDS at around £16 per litre.

I got my last lot from ECP
Actually CarPartsForLess, their online outlet. Came from Germany in a few days.
Never needed it, gave it away at the Wetherby meet.

Had a look at the product sheets (Comma MVCHF and Total LDS).
The Comma product sheet does mention "Specially formulated, synthetic oil based hydraulic fluid for power steering, central hydraulic, suspension level control, stability and traction control systems"
Same Viscosity at 40 and -40C, viscosity index 330 vs 320, pour point -54 vs -51C.
Not going to use it unless absolutely necessary.

Spec sheet looks similar again but the price for Total LDS from another supplier with a discount was lower (just over a tenner/L)

9979 A1 is the equivalent LHM Plus! For XMs, Xantias and previous generation vehicles using these systems.

It's not LDS, so don't use it....... As I've said LHM / LHM Plus are mineral based fluids, LDS is not - it's synthetic and different stuff.

My apologies to the overpaid graduate at Comma, turns out this is not green LDS it's LHM/+ after all
